Cave Paintings.

Trying to utilize all our resources when teaching the little ones. Living in the desert came in pretty handy for these cave paintings.

Learning to Etch.

Trying to work on patience with the little ones. Had them create beautiful concentric circles only to force them to apply black paint over top. They were bummed big time until they saw what happened when they etched into the paint and saw their beautiful colors shine through. Worth the wait.

Bosch

Trying to push the little one's imagination with this Hieronymus Bosch inspired art project. Bosch explored both the good and bad extremes in human nature. The students were to draw a 'Vase Face' and turn the negative space into two monsters while creating a beautiful portrait in the positive space. A touch of beauty and the beasts.
