I had the honour of being able to attend a royal Qatari wedding and it was insanely gorgeous and over the top extravagent. It was unlike anything I have ever seen and I'm truly thankful to have been invited and experienced such an event.
Because the women were not wearing abayas, unfortunately, we were not allowed to take photographs and our cameras and phones were taken at the entrance.
It was absolute torture not being able to capture the dresses, masks, ballroom, dances, and the entire atmosphere. However, they did have photographers who snapped a shot for each of us to keep on our way in. Also after the wedding, once we got our phones back, we took a few shots in the hotel as well.
